Ali Mohmed al Megrahi, convicted of murdering 270 people by blowing up Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, was released last August on "compassionate grounds". It was claimed that he had just 3 months to live. Unsurprising to some, 6 months later he's alive and well, living in the lap of luxury.
